Coconut thogayal recipe-Coconut thuvaiyal recipe-How to make coconut thuvaiyal-thengai thuvayal

Coconut thogayal / thuvaiyal is different from Coconut chutney.  Coconut chutney can be had as a side dish for idly, dosa, pongal and chapati but does not go well with rice. But coconut thuvaiyal can be had with all the above and with plain rice also. Mix coconut thogayal with hot steaming rice topped with a tsp of ghee or sesame seed oil – it will taste heavenly. All you need is some papads/chips or fried vegetable curry to go with. Try it and you will not regret it. This is a very simple recipe which can be done in a matter of 5 minutes.

these coconut birds look lovely- isnt it ?
