   Ingredients needed

   Tur dal – 1/3 cup
   Red chillies – 5
   Whole black pepper -1/4 tsp
   Salt to taste

Method


Dry roast dal till it turns golden brown in colour.

Then dry roast red chillies and pepper separately.

Dry grind everything together to a slightly coarse powder along with salt. Store it in an air tight container.

Serve it with hot steaming rice topped with a tsp ghee or sesame seed oil. All you need is a vegetable curry or papads to go along with it. Enjoy!!

Storage and Shelf Life – Store it in an air tight container at room temperature. It will stay fresh for more than a month.
