Hai padhu, lemon rice is gives the body chill or hot?
Dear Mam . Thamizh puthandu nalvazuthukal… For lemon rice, should we add freshh lemon juice to the rice or shd we add the juice after seasoning in the pan and allow it to boil.
You should not boil the lemon juice as it will taste bitter. After the seasoning, add rice , add the lemon juice, switch off the heat and mix well.
Which rice should we use?
Sithu – You can use regular rice which we use daily. Basmati rice is not necessary for this dish.
Your recipes are really helping me out every day. These are really awesome.
A small suggestion from my side. Sometimes google search result doesn't show your website. I think it is high time that you revamp your website and make it even more attractive. 🙂

Hi Padhu… I tried doing this rice. The lemon raw taste persisted.Pl advice-
This it the first time I am hearing such a problem for lemon rice. May be you squeezed too hard or added too much juice.

Hi Padhu ,Nice recipie..Wheneveri try the chinna dhal is not becoming soft
Try adding chana dal first. First add chana dal, saute for a few seconds, then add urad dal. Another suggestion is you can soak chana dal for 10 minutes, drain the water, wipe it dry and then use it for seasoning.
