Avocados can be enjoyed in many ways other than guacamole. Avocados contain a wide variety of nutrients. They are low in sodium, high in dietary fiber and has no cholesterol. Avocado salad is absolutely delicious and takes only 5 minutes to make! Today we will learn to make a simple salad with avocados.
Peel avocado, discard the seed and dice it into medium sized pieces.
In a bowl, combine together avocado, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes (remove the seeds), coriander leaves and lemon juice.
Add salt and pepper powder to taste. Mix well to combine and enjoy!
Variations - You can also add a little chopped cucumber and capsicum to the salad.
Tips - To find out if an avocado is ripe, gently press it with your fingers, if it yields to pressure and leaves a dent, it is ripe.
