Easy Chocolate Ice Cream-3 Ingredient Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe-Summer Recipes for Kids

May 2, 2014 by PadhuSankar 10 Comments

This is another easy recipe similar to the 3 ingredient orange flavored ice cream which my mom used to make when we were kids. I have just replaced orange flavored drink with cocoa powder as this is a chocolate ice cream. Older kids can easily make this ice cream. No doubt they will have lot of fun. Next time when they trouble you, ask them to go and make their own ice cream, while you can sit back and relax. Today we will learn how to make Egg less 3 ingredient Chocolate Ice Cream following this easy recipe.

3 Ingredient Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe recipe for kids

 Prep Time :10 mins

 Freezing Time:10 hours
 Yields:1 cup
 Recipe Category: Ice Cream

   Ingredients needed

Condensed milk – 4-5 tbsp (I used little less than 1/2 tin from 200 ml Milkmaid tin)
   Cocoa powder (sieved) -3 tbsp
   Heavy Cream -1 cup
   Walnuts (chopped) -5-6 (optional)

Method

Mix all the 3 ingredients (condensed milk + cocoa powder + heavy cream) together using a wire whisk or wooden ladle, pour it into a container with lid (preferable air tight)or cover with plastic wrap and freeze.

Fold in chopped walnuts when it is half set and freeze until solid.

You can even fill ice cream in popsicle mold and freeze. Kids will love it.

Take it out 3-4 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped walnuts and serve.

Note – Turn the freezer settings to maximum.

Use cream straight from the refrigerator. If required beat cream for a few seconds over a bowl of ice cubes + little water.( I did not beat it)

You can use amul cream also. Heavy cream gives richness to the ice cream.
