Healthy Homemade Granola-Basic Granola Recipe

August 19, 2015 by PadhuSankar 7 Comments

Granola is so easy to make at home and also tastes awesome. It is much cheaper than store bought ones which are mostly high on sugar. I have used just rolled oats, nuts and dried fruits to make this granola. It is not only easy to make but you can also customize it by adding your favorite nuts, dried fruits or seeds. I love to have it as such or with greek yogurt topped with seasonal fruits. Today we will learn how to make granola at home following this very easy recipe with step wise pictures.

Hi Padhu, I do not see any sugar added. Does maple sugar give the sweetness? Is this sweetness enuf when having it with plain milk? Please advice.

Maple syrup, raisins, dried cranberries will give the needed sweetness. But if you want it more sweet, you can add it later when having it with milk.
