Badam Paal Recipe-Almond Flavored Milk-How to make Badam Pal

October 12, 2015 by PadhuSankar 10 Comments

Badam milk or almond flavored milk is a very delicious and healthy drink. It can be enjoyed either hot or cold. I do not like the instant badam mix we get in shops as it is loaded with sugar. When making it at home, we can prepare it to suit our taste. Today we will learn how to make badam pal/badam milk following this easy recipe with step wise pictures.

Badam Paal-Almond Flavored Milk

Badam Paal-Almond Flavored Milk (hot and cold)

 Prep Time : 10 mins

 Cook Time : 15 mins
 Serves: 2
 Recipe Category: Beverage-Almond
 Recipe Cuisine: Indian
 Author:Padhu Sankar

   Ingredients needed

   Milk -2 1/2 cup (1/2 liter)
   Almonds – 16
   Saffron – 3 strands
   Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
Sugar – 2 1/2 tbsp or as needed (I do not like it too sweet)

   For the powder

   Pistachio -3
   Almonds -2
   Cashew nuts -2

Preparation

Boil milk. Soak the saffron strands in 1/4 cup of hot milk.

Dry roast the ingredients given under “for the powder” slightly and powder it. Keep it aside.

Soak almonds in hot water for 1/2 an hour. Peel the skin and grind it with a little milk slightly coarse.
