Garlic Bread Recipe-Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread-Quick Garlic Bread with Cheese

February 20, 2016 by PadhuSankar 10 Comments

Garlic bread can be made in just 10 minutes. It is a quick and easy snack/appetizer. The flavor and taste of bread toasted with garlic butter is simply divine. Though I am not a big fan of bread, I have a weakness for this crispy garlic bread. I have used baguette but you can also use regular bread to make this garlic bread. Today we will learn how to make quick and easy garlic bread.

 Prep Time : 5 mins

 Cook Time : 15 mins

   Ingredients needed

   Fresh Baguette or any bread
Butter – 3 tbsp (at room temperature)
   Garlic – 1 1/2 tsp minced
   Salt needed
Grated Cheese – as needed (mozzarella or parmesan)
Fresh coriander leaves or parsley – finely chopped

Preparation

Cut baguette into 3 pieces. Then cut the pieces lengthwise into half. I have taken just 2 halves to make this garlic bread.

Preheat oven at 180 degree C for 10 minutes.

Line a baking tray with aluminium foil or parchment paper.

How to make garlic butter

Butter should be at room temperature. It should be soft and spreadable. In a bowl mix together butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley and salt needed. If using salted butter, avoid salt.

Method

Spread garlic butter generously on the bread slices.

Top it with a generous amount of grated cheese and sprinkle finely chopped parsley.

Arrange the bread slices on the aluminium foil lined baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes until crisp and the cheese melts.

Note – You can use any bread. You can also make it without cheese. You can add herbs of your choice.
