 Prep Time : 10 mins

 Serves: 1
 Recipe Category: Beverage
 Recipe Cuisine: Indian
 Author:Padhu Sankar

   Ingredients needed

   Almond Milk – 1 1/4 cup
   Dates – 4
   Figs – 2
   Almonds – 3 blanched
   Cashew nuts – 3
   Cardamom powder – a pinch
Honey or any other sweetener (optional)

Preparation

Soak dates (seeded), figs, cashew nuts in hot water for 30 minutes.

Method

Blend together 1/4 cup of milk, soaked dates, figs, cashew nuts and blanched almonds slightly coarse.

Add the rest of the milk, cardamom powder and blend again. You can garnish with 1-2 slivered almonds, if preferred.

Pour it into a glass and serve chilled.

Note – I have used almond milk to make this milkshake. You can use regular milk or soy milk to make this dry fruits milkshake.

I did not add any sweetener as the milkshake was sweet enough because of the dates and figs. If needed, you can add any sweetener of your choice.

You can add other dry fruits of your choice.

You can use any dates. If you use dates with seeds, then discard the seeds.
