Pineapple Juice

Pineapple is loaded with vitamins, minerals, fibre and enzymes and is good for the digestive system. It has a good source of vitamin C and has a soothing effect on the throat. It has very less fat and sodium with no cholesterol. Home made fresh pineapple juice is  healthy without added preservatives. It is easy to prepare at home and tastes very delicious. Today we will learn how to make pineapple juice at home following this easy recipe with just 3 ingredients.

Homemade Pineapple Juice


Home made Pineapple Juice

 Prep Time : 10 mins

 Serves:1
 Recipe Category: Beverages-Fresh Fruit Juice

   Ingredients needed

   Pineapple pieces – 1 1/2 cup
   Cold Water -1 1/4 cup
   Powdered Sugar – 2 tsp or 1 tsp honey

Method


Scrap off the skin of the pineapple well and remove the hard core at its center. Cut it into small pieces.

Blend the pineapple pieces, sugar and water together in a blender. Strain the juice using a juice strainer.

If the pineapple is very sweet, you need not add sugar or honey.

Add crushed ice and enjoy!!

How to make pineapple juice at home

Note -Pineapple juice should not be taken on an empty stomach.

    There are too many pineapples in the farms owned by my grand parents. There were around 200 last month.
