Hi, I have tried quite a few of your recipes the best among them is instant rasam. It is wonderful easy recipe. Thanks a lot. I tried making this coriander rice for todays lunch. I followed the instructions given by you. After sautéing the mix I tasted for salt before adding rice. I got a bitter taste. I was wondering what caused it? I had to throw away the mix as I had no time to alter the bitterness. If possible could you please give your suggestions as to what could have caused the bitterness. Thanks in advance.

There is no chance for this rice to turn bitter. It might be due to the coriander variety.

Yes, you can store the paste in the refrigerator for a day or 2 – not more than that as the flavors will get lost.

Thank you for liking my presentation. It depends on the quality of rice. But you can add 1 cup for 1/4 cup rice. Add little more than 1 cup if you want it mushy. Then there are many porridge recipes for babies. Check my baby section page.
