 Prep Time : 10 mins

 Serves: 1
 Recipe Category: Juice-Smoothies
 Recipe Cuisine: Indian
 Author:Padhu Sankar

   Ingredients needed

Pomegranate – 2 (deep red ones)
   Milk – 3/4- 1 cup
Honey – 2 tsp or sweetener of your choice
Chia seeds – 2 tsp (optional)

Method

Cut pomegranate into half, then just start hitting the back of the fruit with a wooden ladle. All the seeds will come off easily.

Soak the chia seeds for about 5-10 minutes just prior to blending in very less water.

Blend pomegranate pearls (seeds), honey and milk together in a blender and filter it. Then add chia seeds to the filtered milkshake and blend again. Consume immediately.

Note

If you are adding chia seeds, consume immediately as the seeds tend to absorb the liquid and thicken the milkshake.
