Avocado Milkshake Recipe-Butter Fruit Milkshake

September 15, 2016 by PadhuSankar 5 Comments

Avocado is known as “Butter Fruit” in India. Avocados are extremely delicious, versatile and nutritious. You can make variety of dishes with avocado like avocado dip, sandwich, guacamole, salad, avocado egg sandwich, pasta etc. It’s creamy texture makes it a great spread for bread. You can use it instead of butter. Avocados are extremely high in good fat. They are good for the skin and the heart. I love the buttery taste of the avocados and love to eat directly with a spoon with some powdered jaggery or love it sliced up with some salt and pepper. This milkshake is creamy and delicious. Today we will learn how to make avocado milkshake following this easy recipe.

Tips – How to find out if an avocado is ripe

Gently squeeze the avocado with your finger tips. If it yields to pressure and leaves a dent, the avocado is ripe.

If it does not yield to pressure and is hard, it is unripe. If it is mushy, it it over ripe.

In the refrigerator. If it is not brown and does not stink, you can use the mushy avocado.
