Papaya Smoothie Recipe

Papaya can be called the “Super food” as it is rich in antioxidants. It is low in calories and high in nutritive value. Papayas are a good source of fiber, so they help in preventing constipation. It also helps keep your cholesterol levels down. Papayas contain papain, an enzyme that helps digest proteins. It has anti-inflammatory properties and anti-cancerous properties.The antioxidants found in papaya helps in controlling premature aging. It helps to strengthen the immune system as it contains high concentration of Vitamin C and Vitamin A. Including papaya regularly in your diet helps to maintain vitality and good health. It can be taken in the form of salads, milkshake ,smoothies or just like that. So go ahead -What are you waiting for? Rush to the market to buy papayas, “THE POWER FRUIT”.Today we will learn how to prepare papaya smoothie following this simple recipe.

Papaya Smoothie Recipe


Papaya Smoothie

  Prep Time : 5 mins|Cook Time : Nil |  Serves :1

   Ingredients needed

   Papaya – 1 cup chopped
   Chilled Milk -1 cup
   Yogurt -1/4 cup
   Honey – 1 tsp

Method

Peel the skin, remove the seeds of papaya and chop it into cubes.

Blend everything together in a blender and serve chilled.

    padhu…really great smoothie with pappaya…i ll try it for sure today itself…blending yoghurt to the smoothie iz new to me…but i hope it would be increasing the smoothie flavour n taste…really great…

    Gr8 idea to prepare as a smoothie…bcos generally we tend to show low interests towards eating fruits..no matter we know its healthy…
    At least a prepared drink like this is an effortless way to consume vitamins 🙂

    Just a doubt. can we use Milk and yogurt together in smoothie?

      Yes, but yogurt should not be sour. It is to give a creamy texture. If you do not prefer, skip yogurt and add more milk.
