Perfect for kids after they get back from school. Combined with banana, it makes a light breakfast. Today we will learn how to make strawberry milkshake following this easy recipe.

   Ingredients needed

   Strawberries - 3/4 cup chopped
   Cold milk (boiled and cooled) - 1 1/4 cup
   Sugar or honey to taste


Preparation

Remove the stem, wash and cut the strawberries into half.

Method

In a blender, add strawberries, milk, sugar/honey and blend until smooth.

Pour into a tall glass and serve chilled.

Variations

You can add a scoop of strawberry ice cream while blending to make it creamier.

You can add a small banana along with strawberries and blend it to make it more filling.

    1. Strawberries are high allergen food. As your baby has completed 2 years, you can give in small quantity.But I suggest that you consult your pediatrician about introducing strawberries.
