Mixed Berry Yogurt Parfait Recipe-Easy Dessert Recipe

This Berry Parfait is prepared with mixed berries, low fat greek yogurt and museli. It is a great way to kick start the day. It is healthy, low in calories and very easy to make. Kids and adults will love this delicious yogurt parfait. It can be had for breakfast or as a dessert. Today we will learn how to make Berry Yogurt Parfait following this easy recipe.

Mixed Berry Yogurt Parfait

 Prep Time : 10 mins

 Cook Time : Nil
 Serves: 1 
 Recipe Category: Dessert

   Ingredients needed

   Low fat Greek yogurt -4 tbsp
  Assorted Fresh/frozen Berries – 1/2 cup    (Blackberries,Blueberries,Raspberries,Strawberries)
   Sugar -1 tsp
   Honey -2 tbsp
   Museli or granola -1/2 cup

Preparation

Wash and chop strawberries into bite size pieces.


Clean the berries and marinate all the berries together with 1 tsp of sugar for 15 minutes.

Method 


Take a tall glass, layer with 1/4 cup of museli.

Then spoon 2 tbsp of yogurt on top of it.

Drizzle a little honey and place 1/4 cup of berries.

Repeat the above layers with the remaining museli, yogurt, honey and berries.

Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes and serve.

Note – If you cannot get Greek yogurt, you can use curd. Drain all the water from the curd using a muslin/thin cotton cloth and then use it. Curd should not be sour.

      I made this when I was in London for a month. I was so excited to see all the berries there and make this for my breakfast one day. In Chennai I have not seen raspberries and black berries anywhere.

    Is granola or museli similar to instant oats? Can I use instant oats?
