Bread Omelette is a very popular street food and is loved by people of all ages. It is a quick fix for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is healthy, easy to make and really tasty. Today we will learn how to make bread omelette following this easy recipe with step wise pictures.
Break 2 eggs into a bowl. Add finely chopped onions, green chilli , coriander leaves, salt and pepper powder.
Add a tsp of water and beat well with a fork until foamy. Apply butter and toast bread both the sides.
Grease a tawa and heat it. Pour the egg mixture on the tawa. Tilt the pan slightly to get thin, bigger omelet as we have to place 2 bread slices on the omelet.
When it is half cooked, place both the bread slices on top of it (as seen in the picture below) to absorb the uncooked egg mixture.
Then turn the bread over to the other side.
Now flip the omelette with the bread slices to the other side carefully or you can fold the omelet on the side of the bread, over the bread slices and then flip it over (to get a rectangular shape).
Once it is cooked, flip again, fold it and serve immediately with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
