Custard Powder cake is light and soft and is very easy to make. You need very less ingredients to make this egg less soft and delicious custard powder cake. The custard powder gives a different taste to the cake. I had some custard powder lying in my refrigerator and wanted to try something new with it other than the fruit custard or trifle pudding. I found this custard powder cake recipe here very interesting and decided to give it a try. The cake turned out well and we all liked it very much. Today we will learn how to make custard powder cake following this easy recipe.

May be you over baked it or the oven temperature might have been high.

I DID IT. MADE THE CAKE WITH STRAWBERRY CUSTARD AND VANILLA ESSENCE. IT TURNED OUT WELL. The only difference I made was that I ran my microwave oven in microwave+convention mode and the cake was ready in 15 mins. That tip might help other readers of the blog. If you run the microwave oven on only convention mode then it functions exactly like a conventional oven. Same time and same temperature, just everything same. THANKS A LOT PADHU.I WHOLEHEARTEDLY TREASURE WHAT I AM LEARNING FROM YOU.

I have mentioned to use only vanilla essence. You should have added less if it is orange essence as it is very strong.
